Sweet Lassi is most popular beverages, especially from North India. Traditionally, it is made up of a blend of curd and spices.

Panjabi Lassi is very famous all over in India. There are different types of lassi available in India like Mango Lassi, Salted Lassi (Chhas), Sweet Lassi, etc. It is one of the refreshing drinks to have especially in summer. Lassi with ice-cream can also be eaten. It is very thick like a milkshake and tastes so nice. In my family, we like to drink daily in summer. It is the perfect start of the day.

This is a traditional cold beverage based on the curd. This recipe is very easy to make and can be made within 10 minutes.

Sweet Lassi
Instructions
  1. In a bowl, take a curd and whisk it with the whisker.
  2. Whisk till curd become smooth. There should not be any lumps.
  3. Now add sugar and whisk it again.
  4. Then add 1/2 cup of water or milk, 4 ice cubes and whisk well.
  5. Whisk until sugar dissolves well.
  6. Add a pinch of salt and roasted cumin powder.
  7. Keep on whisking till you get froth on top of it.
  8. Now Lassi is ready to serve.
  9. Pour lassi in glasses and top up with clotted cream.
  10. Garnish with some mint leaves. Enjoy chilled creamy lassi.
Recipe Notes

You can blend the mixture, add curd in a blender jar and blend smoothly. Then add all spices and blend again.
